Obituary of Paul D Frazier
Paul D. Frazier, 89, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2019, with his loving family by his side. He was born on October 10, 1929, in Marion, to the late Chester and Lucille (Fansler) Frazier. Paul graduated from Marion High School in 1948. He married the love of his life, Violet J. (Whitson) Frazier, on October 15, 1950, in Marion. Paul served in the Army during the Korean War. He retired after 43 years of service from Marion Chronicle-Tribune. Paul will be remembered as a kind, gentle and quiet man who truly loved and cared for his family. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of Grace Community Church.
Paul is survived by his wife Violet Frazier, Marion; his son Rodney (Judy) Frazier, Jalapa; his grandchildren, Jamie (Mitch Wells) Murphy, Lafayette, and Joshua (Michelle) Frazier, Marion; his great-grandchildren, Paige and Nathan Harris and Harry and Charlie Wells; his uncle, Joe (Imogene) Frazier, Marion; and his three nephews and two nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Ruby Angell, Kay Fry, and infant sister Loretta Bernice.
Arrangements for Paul have been entrusted to College Park Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 4601 S. Western Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953, where there will be a visitation held on Sunday, September 15, 2019, from 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. A funeral service will be held for Paul on Monday, September 16, 2019, at the funeral home beginning at 10:30 A.M. with Pastor Tom Mansbarger officiating. There will be a private burial at a later date.
